Wallet & Payout Terms

Summary. Your wallet and payout account are provided by Whop, Inc. Human Garage pays your approved earnings into that wallet; Whop handles identity verification, bank details and withdrawals. Human Garage keeps a 20% platform fee on coaching earnings; there is no platform fee on affiliate commissions. Earnings become payable after a 30-day hold, are approved by our finance team, and are paid once the amount due to you reaches $25. Refunded or fraudulent sales can be deducted later. You are responsible for your own taxes.

1. Who provides what

Human Garage decides which commissions and earnings you have earned and pays them to you. Your payout account, wallet balance, identity verification, payout methods (such as a bank account) and withdrawals are provided by Whop, Inc. (“Whop”) under Whop’s own terms, including the Whop Terms of Service, which you accept with Whop when you set up your account.

Human Garage is not a bank or money transmitter and does not hold money on your behalf. Once we pay an amount into your wallet, it is held and serviced by Whop and its partners under Whop’s terms, and Human Garage no longer controls it.

2. Your payout account

When you set up payouts we ask Whop to open a payout account (a connected account under Human Garage’s Whop platform account) in your name, using the email address on your Human Garage account. You must give Whop accurate information and complete its identity verification before you can withdraw. You may hold one payout account.

We or Whop may refuse, restrict or close a payout account where required by law or sanctions rules, where identity cannot be verified, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

3. What earnings are paid

We pay (a) affiliate commissions earned under the Affiliate Partner Terms and (b) coaching earnings earned under your coach agreement, at the rates shown in your dashboard or program materials. Amounts are paid in U.S. dollars.

Earnings are not payable on your own purchases, on self-referred, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible transactions, or on purchases that are refunded, cancelled or charged back.

4. Platform fee

Human Garage charges a platform fee of 20% of coaching earnings. The fee covers the Human Garage platform and payout services. We deduct it from each coaching earning before paying the remaining 80% into your wallet.

There is no platform fee on affiliate commissions, and no platform fee on one-off payouts such as bonuses or corrections. Each payout in your dashboard shows the amount earned, the platform fee and the amount paid.

If a coaching earning is refunded or reversed, the fee on it is reversed with it. We may change the fee rate with at least 30 days’ notice in your dashboard or by email; a change applies only to earnings made after it takes effect. Fees charged by Whop for withdrawals or other wallet services are separate and are shown by Whop before you confirm.

5. Hold period

Each commission or earning becomes payable once 30 days have passed since the underlying purchase or session, so that refunds and chargebacks can be reflected first, unless your program materials state a different period. Amounts still in the hold period appear as pending.

6. Approval, schedule and minimum

Our finance team reviews and approves every payout, generally once a month. When the amount due to you after the platform fee reaches US$25 (the “minimum”), we pay it into your wallet as a single transfer. Balances below the minimum carry over to the next payout. We may also make one-off payouts or corrections, which appear in your payout history.

Each payout is recorded once and cannot be paid twice; if a payout cannot be completed it stays pending until it is resolved.

7. Reversals and corrections

If a purchase or session that earned you money is later refunded, cancelled, charged back or found to be fraudulent or ineligible after it was paid, we may deduct the amount from your future payouts or ask you to repay it. We will correct any payment made in error in the same way, and we will tell you about the adjustment in your dashboard or by email.

8. Withdrawing and spending

After an amount reaches your wallet you can withdraw it to a payout method you add with Whop, or, if you are an eligible coach, spend it with an HG Card under the HG Card Program Terms. Withdrawal methods, timing, limits and any fees are set by Whop and shown to you before you confirm.

9. Taxes

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, and you are responsible for any taxes on your earnings. You may be asked by us or by Whop for tax information (for example, a Form W-9 or W-8), and we or Whop may report payments to tax authorities and issue information returns where the law requires.

10. Your information

To open your payout account and pay you, we share your name, email address, whether you are a coach or affiliate, and the amounts we pay with Whop. Whop collects your identity documents and payout details directly; Human Garage does not receive your identity documents or your full bank account details. We keep a record of each payout and of your acceptance of these terms (date, time, IP address and browser). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

11. Pausing and ending payouts

We may pause payouts while we investigate suspected fraud, a dispute or a breach of our terms. If your affiliate or coach relationship ends, earnings that were already approved remain payable subject to the hold period and reversals above. Money already in your wallet remains yours under Whop’s terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Payout Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new version date and ask you to accept it in your dashboard before your next payout setup or card request. Changes do not affect payouts already made.
